INCOMPLETE, NOT ME!
A New Year Prayer
"Hear my cry, o God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I."  Psalm 61:1-2
 
Lord, I thank you for your faithfulness, love and mercy showed to me last year. As my Savior, you rescued me from so much. You kept me sheltered from things that were suppose to harm me. You preserved me from dangers seen and unseen. As my Shepherd, you guided me along paths that were unfamiliar and uncertain. As my Lord, you forgave me for the times I allowed my flesh to control my actions,. You took charge, just to ensure my safety. Despite my foolishness, you kept me from self-destruction. Thank you Lord. As my Jehovah-Jireh, you kept making provisions for me. When I mishandled and mismanaged my finances, you forgave me and restored me to a wealthy place. You are the one Lord, who provided medicine for me when I was sick. You became my chief physician. Lord you are my everything. This year, oh Lord, is a year that I seek wholeness in every area of my life. I desire completeness in my family, finances, body, mind and emotions. Help me to rise up to the challenges this year. Lord, I want to be complete. I want to be whole. I want to have Peace, the peace that passeth even my own understanding. Lead me to a rock that is higher than I - a place where only God can make me whole. Thank you Lord. Amen!
