Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole Hosts First Ever
Los Angeles Singers and Musicians Conference

New York, NY -- Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole hosted the first annual Los Angeles Regional Singers and Musicians Conference December 1st - 4th at Faithful Central's The Tabernacle (Bishop Kenneth C. & Togetta Ulmer). The conference consisted of informational workshops facilitated by guest speakers and was closed out with a tribute concert in honor of The Clark Sisters.
Speakers included Keith Douglas (RKD Music Management), Adrian Anderson (Halo Tu Beauty), Tasha Smith (Tyler Perry's For Better or For Worse), Thomasina "GooGoo" Atkins (Celebrity Stylist), Monica Bacon (CEO, Sovereign Agency), Gerald Haddon, Alice Benjamin (American Heart Association spokesperson) and Eric Dawkins to name a few.
For the grand finale celebrating The Clark Sisters, multi-platinum 2012 Grammy nominee Kelly Price rendered music in her powerful melodic voice to their honor. Local honoree Neily Dickerson (The ND Co.), Gina Rogers (SiriusXM), Angela Jollivette (Awards Dept., The Recording Academy) and artists Brittany Batson, Durward Davis, Syreeta Thompson and Tionne were all in attendance. The Clark Sisters also performed several of their signature hits and were honored with a standing ovation by the audience.
